The Tennessee Legislature started its 2023-2024 session this week.  Under an announcement this week, ALL bills have to be filed by the end of January 2023 in order to be considered this year.  That means we can expect perhaps as many as 1500 or so bills to be filed in the next 2 weeks.  Also, most House members only get the chance to file 15 bills.

Now is the time to reach out to your legislators and let them know you WANT them to enact REAL Constitutional Carry in 2023 and that you want them to eliminate gun free zones.   They will not do it unless they understand clearly that you are putting a priority on this and imposing it as a priority on them.

To help you get and stay engaged, Tennessee Firearms Association has invested in an advocacy tool that helps you to stay in contact with your legislators.  It gives you a proposed email body (and you can edit everything in the subject and body of the email) and it shows you who your legislators are that will be receiving the email.  We hope that you will take regular advantage of this new resource.
