TFA Sumner County Region to host Congressional District 6 Candidates for a series of interviews
The Sumner County
Chapter of TFA will be hosting a series of meetings featuring the candidates
for Tennessee’s US Congressional District 6 as Congressman John Rose will not
be seeking reelection as he will pursue running for Governor of
Tennessee.
The schedule for the
upcoming meetings featuring the District 6 Candidates are as follows:
- July 31 - Van Hilleary, Chief of
Staff for District 6 Congressman John Rose
- August 28, Johnny Garrett, TN House
Majority Whip
- Sept. 25, Jon Henry, Retired Marine
Sergeant Major
- Oct. 23, Dale Braden,
Businessman
Time (for all sessions): Doors open at 6:15pm.
Speakers start at 6:30
Location: Shackle Island Volunteer
Fire Dept., 3199 Long Hollow Pike, Hendersonville
You do NOT need to be a
TFA member to attend any of these meetings.

The 2025 TFALAC Annual Event is Saturday, September 6, 2025. It also will be the 30th Anniversary of the Tennessee Firearms Association! Lt. General Michael Flynn will be the Keynote
Speaker this year.
The event includes guest speakers, a BBQ lunch, live auction, silent auction, vendor booths and more.
You do not have to be a member of TFA to attend or support this event.

Political Training Class by Foundation for Applied
Conservative Leadership
Saturday July 26, 2025
TFA has made arrangements with the Foundation for Applied
Conservative Leadership to bring in its instructors and training for an all day
course on July 26, 2025. This is the FACL Political Leadership
School. TFA membership is not required.
This will be valuable training and insight on what makes a
difference in the battle of politics. If you are considering running for
office at any level, if you are considering assisting a candidate, or if you
want to be a better advocate you should participate in this course - even if
you have had it before.
