Bills to be heard the week of April 17, 2023
Legislative committee calendars for the week of April 17, 2023, indicate that 8 different committees/floor votes are scheduled to hear bills that being tracked by TFA. Note: This is likely to be the last calendar for 2023 since reports are that the Legislature plans to conclude business, rush through a budget, perhaps pass in the confusion several bad bills and adjourn for the year by next Saturday.
A lot has transpired in the last two weeks that suggest that the Legislature is ready to just go home.
