Friend,
Here’s what I’ve learned over the past several years:
1. Following your dreams will cost you a lot! In fact, it will cost you everything!
2. Most things are far more difficult than expected but you can never give up.
3. Knowing your “why” is extremely important because you’ll ask yourself this question time and time again. “Why am I doing this?”
4. Exercise and diet are critically important.
5. Like minded friends are lifesavers.
6. Coaches, mentors and others who care about your dreams are vital.
I think about all of the practical aspects of following my dreams, I’m also very aware of the spiritual implications as well. I’m thankful to God for His Grace and mercy because I know that without Him none of what I’ve learned and discovered would have been possible.
I’m thankful to God for you and our relationship, I’m thankful to God for my family and friends. I’m thankful for the spiritual leaders in my life especially my pastors.
This Thanksgiving season reminds me of how truly blessed I am. It’s not always easy but it’s always worth it!
