Friend,
As we approach the Christmas and New Year's holidays, my mind is drawn to the Birth of Christ and the coming year. So, I’ll begin by talking about the Birth of Jesus Christ. Of course, you can’t talk about this event without using scripture.
The Birth of Christ
Isaiah 7:14
“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” – Isaiah 7:14
Micah 5:2
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.” – Micah 5:2
Isaiah 9:6
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9:6
There has never been a time before in my life when this story has been more significant. Many Christians take Christ’s birth for granted (we are so used to buying presents and decorating the house...nothing wrong with that), but the events of 2025 and the ten years preceding have shown me to never take anything for granted. In fact, I spent much of my time this year reviewing the differences between Christianity and Islam. Interesting.
A Thorough examination of history has proven that the Birth of Christ is an event in time that changed everything. In light of current historical events seen through a Christian lens, the world needs the love and understanding of why Christ came. Where are the evangelists?
Happy New Year
This holiday allows us to reflect on the past and prepare for the future. Each year is a “reset. Setting goals, reading books, and exchanging ideas with others.
In 2025, I stepped away from creating content for the internet, but I continued to curate content and post on my personal Facebook page (not on my business page). My YouTube page was also underutilized. My main focus in 2025 was mourning and healing. I continued the Bible Study and Prayer Assignment, focusing on intercession for the United States of America and other nations, which was a key point in 2025 and will continue in 2026. This required a lot of time reviewing history as well as staying aware of current events. I’ve learned a lot.
My reading in 2025 has included history, politics, spiritual activities and belief, autobiographies, etc. It has been a good year for reading. Some recommended titles are:
· *My Grandfather’s Son by Clarence Thomas
· *Clarence Thomas and the Lost Constitution by Myron Magnet
· *The Power of the Decree by Patricia King and Brian Simmons
· *America’s Cultural Revolution by Christopher Rufo
· *Lies My Liberal Teacher Told Me by Wilfred Reilly
· *25 Lies by Vince Everett Ellison
· *The Gospels – King James Version Bible
These are a few of the books I read this year.
I’m looking forward to the new year!! I’m tempted to add more information about the political landscape, but I won’t. This short newsletter is to say hello, discuss the reason for the season, and bring you up to date on what is going on with me. I appreciate your prayers and well wishes. My ankle is healing, and I’m able to wear shoes (sneakers). I’m looking forward to the day when I can wear heels! God bless you and your family, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
Thank you for subscribing to my newsletter.
Sincerely,
Teresita
