Dear, Friend,

Happy Veterans Day! It's been a while since I reached out. It has been a challenging year. After the death of my son, Michael, in April, I tried to press forward, but I was unable to continue at the usual pace. Then in July, I broke my ankle and had surgery. I'm still recovering. I could not walk for a long while. I'm doing physical therapy and slowly progressing.

I wanted to say hello and Happy Veterans Day! If you served, thank you for your service.
