Hello Friend,
How is everything going? I hope that all is well with you and yours. Since my last newsletter to you, one of my sisters passed away. I was truly heartbroken by her passing. It has taken me a while to recover. But thank God for His grace, mercy and comfort, I am ready to get back to business!
In the last newsletter we tried to reestablish our original focus by defining who we are and what we talk about and do! We also asked for anyone who did not want to hear from us anymore to unsubscribe. We want to be sure that you want to hear from us...that's important.
In this newsletter we want to give you more information about In His Season, Inc. we are ready to get Back to Business!
Okay, so who is In His Season, Inc. and what do we do?
Training & Development
Friend, most people probably don’t think of themselves as a business, it’s a strange idea, “you, a business?” and like any business you need to keep up with what’s going on in your market place. You need to know how to connect with your client, customer, friend, follower, etc. in a way that let’s them know that you take your own personal growth seriously and are also able to help them. In today’s fast paced and changing society, it’s even more important to invest in the business of you.
Do any of these apply to you?
- Experienced job loss within the last five years.
- Know very little about Social Media.
- Thinking about starting a business.
- Need more computing skills.
- Feel lost and vague or irrelevant in the information age.
The truth is that you’re not alone! At least 40 percent of people over the age of forty are currently experiencing two to three of these feelings, events or experiences, and some people under the age of forty share those feelings for different reasons.
What about this, can you relate to any of these?
- Always wanted to write a book.
- Need to know more about Social Media.
- Having a difficult time balancing time, money and responsibility.

Mindset:
Is primarily about how you think. A Mindset that is willing to learn and grow is needed by anyone wanting to change and grow into their best self.
Technical:
The “How To” of social media, publishing, etc., to get your message out. In today’s fast paced world of information, technology, digital and social, everyone needs to expand their technical abilities. You don’t have to be an expert to
develop your technical know how. Applications like WordPress, Email, landing pages, etc., mean that every entrepreneur, small business person, minister or individual can and should grow in their technical skill and know how. Even if you choose not to do it yourself you’ll be a better, more knowledgeable purchaser of the service of others.
Spiritual:
All learning should be a combination of spirit, soul and body! We use Christian principles as our spiritual foundation. |

What exactly is training and development?
Definitions: Training
Organized activity aimed at imparting information and/or instructions to improve the recipient’s performance or to help him or her attain a required level of knowledge or skill.
Development
1. The systematic use of scientific and technical knowledge to meet specific objectives or requirements.
2. An extension of the theoretical or practical aspects of a concept, design, discovery, or invention.
3. The process of economic and social transformation that is based on complex cultural and environmental factors
and their interactions.
4. The process of adding improvements to a parcel of land, such as grading, subdivisions, drainage, access, roads,
utilities.

Our Theory
Training leads to development of the individual and of the company or church. We know that training can be accomplished in formal environments and informal environments both can be equally effective.
One of our goals is to empower the entire individual: spirit, soul and body. Our approach to training is rooted deeply in our Christian belief. Our curriculum and training environments are designed with our belief in mind. We know how important it is to reach individuals on every level.
Here’s the bottom line, we have entered an economic paradigm shift and no one can expect to function now in the same way they did under a mass production economy. Technology has leveled the playing field in some regards but only for the individual with the right training and skills.
Individuals and companies or churches wanting to succeed in this century will need to be trained to be viable and relevant. We offer the means necessary to assist the individual to make the necessary changes to become all that they can be now.
