Subject: Friend, How are you doing?

April 9, 2020

Friend,

First, let me ask, how are you? I hope that you and your family are well. COVID-19 (The Coronavirus) has impacted all of us in one way or another. I wish that I could say that things haven’t changed but, they have. Our ability to move about freely has temporarily changed; our ability to gather together has temporarily changed. I say “temporarily” because as the saying goes, “this too shall pass!” I’m looking forward to the day when “sheltering in place” is not the case.

What are you doing with yourself during this time of social distancing or quarantine?

Are you working from home?

Are you working at all?

This time is a challenge for us all.

Times of challenge can also be times of opportunity, if we look for the positive in life’s difficulties, it becomes possible to conquer and thrive even in difficult times!

Now is the best time to use your time strategically to accomplish those things that you may not have had time to accomplish before.

Examples:

1) Time to pray
2) Time to read a book (or a few books)
3) Time to plant an outside garden
4) Time to paint a room in your home
5) Time to write an outline for a new book
6) Time to tweek your business model (especially now!)

Personally, I made a few adjustments; I decided to complete some of the task that required “more time” things that I’ve put off because of lack of time. I'm tackling a few DIY (Do it Yourself) projects at home. I'm mowing my own lawn (with a brand new an old fashion rotary mower, it's a great exercise)!

We are in a crisis, some people have died and others are ill, but my prayer for you is that God will keep you safe. There is HOPE for the future. One day this will end so, use your time wisely.

I pray that you and your family will come through this crisis healthy and prosperous.

We are celebrating Passover and soon it will be Easter! This is the time of year that we officially celebrate (although we celebrate and honor God daily). Faith is important in these times. It  is the eternal hope through Jesus Christ that helps us to focus on the things that truly matter; family, friends, relationships, and our relationship with God. While things may change around us, His love for us will never change and, He will never change.
" And ye shall observe [the feast of] unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever."
