👉 Task Updates

Multiple assignees

This has been the most requested feature. You can now assign a task to multiple people. Meaning, you can tag more than one team member to a task when creating it.

All the assignees will automatically get a notification about this and any one of those assignees can mark the task completed.

Example use cases:

  • The above example shows a Task that is Automatically Generated to be assigned to two team members to prep and submit the case when clear aligner records visit is marked completed. (Generated through Automation Workflow)

  • The 2nd task in the example above is part of a weekly routine for the practice where it's a weekly repeated task assigned to the two employees responsible for the task.

Here's a helpful video to get you started with using functionality:

Automation Workflow & Tasks for Multiple Tagged Employees

The multiple assignees functionality also applies to Tasks that are generated automatically through Automation Workflow, where you're now able to set up workflow to assign a task to multiple team members when a certain trigger takes place (one or more procedure code getting scheduled, or completed)

Repeating Tasks - new Options added

You can now have tasks that repeat on Bi-Weekly basis.

You can now have task repeat automatically at the end of the month without specifying which day.

Here's a helpful video to get you started with using Repeated Tasks

How to use Repeating Tasks: https://youtu.be/FQkBNOkVuL0?si=bRI1032UVxT8q2rs

Task History

Once a task is marked completed, you're going to see when the task was created, when it was marked completed, and who it was completed by.

New Task Filter

New filter added to view tasks created by me and assigned to me.

"Tasks assigned to me" used to ONLY show you tasks that were assigned to you by OTHER people.

Some of our offices had the need to be able to see all the tasks that were assigned to them regardless of who created it.

For instance, If I created the task and didn't assign it to someone, it would automatically assign it to me which wouldn't show up in "Tasks Assigned To Me" section and would only show up under "Tasks Created By Me".

📅 Recall & Unscheduled Treatment List Filters

Introduced "Exclude" Insurance plans filter for both Recall & Unscheduled list

If you have tons of Delta plans that appear in the dropdown (as it does in Open Dental) - now you have the option of typing "delta*" - which selects all delta plans instead of having to select one by one.

You can do this with any entries. Example: "cigna*", "aetna*", etc. This is especially useful if you've recently gone out-of-network with a plan and no longer need to pull up patients on the plan.

Ability to save and load-on-the-go procedures codes

Load saved Proc Codes to easily include or exclude on your filters.

When on the unscheduled treatment page, some offices would have a huge list of codes that they would have to enter manually every time when doing a search.

In order to make it easy for them, we are introducing a setting under the Unscheduled Treatment Settings where they can have these codes saved.

If there are any values entered into either "Codes to Include" or "Codes to Exclude" - you will see a small button next to the codes on the Unscheduled Treatment page where they can select this to pre-load those codes to either include or exclude when doing a search.

p.s. When you're in the office tomorrow, don't forget to do a hard-refresh by doing the following (everyone on the team should do this) to make sure you're looking at our latest update:

1) Log out, then

2) On the log in screen,

- Hold down Ctrl (Control) + Shift + R, Or
- Hold down Ctrl (Control) + Shift + click the Reload button.

3) Log in
