"Of course, there is still much work to be done. That means honestly confronting the crisis of Islamic extremism and the Islamists and Islamic terror of all kinds." -- President Trump in Riyadh

"Where are you headed, Europe? Rise from your knees and from your lethargy, or you will be crying over your children every day." -- Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo

Repairing  the Damage of "Fraud as a Business Model"

One of you asked for a link to the PowerPoint slides from my 2010 presentation to the FHFA. I don't make the original slides available, and I believe it is the only time I posted a presentation online. Instead, I just uploaded the slides to YouTube in video format, and you can view the slides, minus the audio, via this link.

President Trump’s Wall Hoax Is Ruining His 2020 Chances

President Trump’s base doesn't care about the Russia Hoax. We care about his now broken promises for the first 100 days: an executive order ending DACA, e-verify, penalties for employers who hire illegal immigrants, the Big Beautiful Wall and more.

Here’s a great article on why President Trump will have a tough time getting reelected in 2020. He let down the USA.

President Trump is great at PR and great at making promises. He’s doing a victory lap about the Russian Hoax being exposed by the Mueller Report. He may not have a victory in 2020.

But, but but…you don’t want the Marxists to win, do you? Nice pivot. Because of Trump’s failure, we may no longer have control over the outcome.

Speaking of hoaxes, Soros-funded Kim Foxx is the Illinois States Attorney. Illinois dropped all charges in the Jesse Smollett hate crime hoax.

This is taxation without representation.

From January 2019

What should one do in the market in 2019? You might consider this. The fundamentals of finance do not change, even though money printers are in control of global governments. Europe and the USA are pushing cashless societies which makes it easier to manipulate both currencies and citizens. If you voted for open borders and more government control, you should be ecstatic.

President Trump is in political trouble with his voting base for one reason. He did not fulfill one of his widely-publicized key campaign promises: He promised to solve the USA's immigration problems. He promised to address illegal immigration problems by building a Wall on the USA's Southern Border, ending protections for criminal illegal aliens trying to avoid deportation (aka "sanctuary" cities), deporting illegal aliens, ending the "anchor baby" loophole, and refusing to grant amnesty. He promised to address legal immigration problems, too. Among other things, he promised to end the H-1 B visa abuses; it is the key method employers use to drive down wages of both unskilled and skilled workers.

Mainstream media's Fake News hates to report murders of U.S. citizens by illegal aliens, but some reports are hard to miss. Less than one hour after Christmas, an illegal alien serial criminal from Mexico killed police officer Ronil Singh in the fugitive-friendly state of California. Officer Singh left behind a wife and infant. Singh was born in Fiji and legally immigrated to the USA. He died in the line of duty.

President Trump bluffed and folded every hand. Instead of using a veto to stop past spending bills, he signed them and pretended to accept fake promises from "Republicans." Now Congress is approaching a January changeover, and his voting base is weary of his excuses and lack of results.

Part of the market volatility is due to uncertainty over whether President Trump will be a one-term president. He's failed to fulfill his loudest campaign promise.

In Europe, politicians are trying to downplay the gargantuan problems they authored with unvetted immigration. Many immigrants do not wish to assimilate. They do not wish to integrate. They want their host country to accommodate and to spend tax payer dollars on them. Criminal immigrants do not meet with reasonable justice, and they move easily across borders. A welfare state cannot co-exist with porous borders. Europe's "solution" is to impose "hate speech" laws on an increasingly nervous population.
Wall Street’s New Alphabet Soup (Sept 29, 2018)

“After a decade of low interest rates, money managers are hunting for investments that pay more ‘and will entertain almost anything,’ said Janet Tavakoli, president of Tavakoli Structured Finance." Products that triggered Wall Street's crisis—then & now: “The toxic alphabet soup that almost took down Wall Street is staging a comeback.”
Influence, Mind Control, and Rhetological Fallacies

Can the media manipulate you? Yes. Being aware of techniques is a first step to self-defense. If you have read Pre-Suasion, you may also enjoy information on cognitive illusions such as Scientific American’sWhat Can Magicians Teach Us about the Brain?”  or “Stage Hynosis—How and Why it Works.”

Even word games can confuse and mislead. Here’s a great review of Rhetological Fallacies that abound in financial, social, and main stream media.

In my novel, Archangels, a targeted PSYOP is used against the protagonist. These techniques are surprisingly effective in practice.

Today marks the first release of the large print edition of Archangels for the minority of people who prefer that format. It conforms to N.A.V.H. standards, except the spine isn’t as flexible. But one can bend it back to lay flat, if desired.
