See You Next Year!

Summer reading has drawn to a close... although someone might want to tell that to the weather. We have a few things left to wrap up in this email, as well as a feedback survey that will go out later this week—after that, you won't hear from us until Summer Reading 2024!

Our final total—🥁 drum roll please 🥁—was 2,972 books. Yes, almost three thousand books! That's fantastic! I know we had a few impressive top readers this year, but this was absolutely a group effort. This year's total has blown the last five years out of the water even if you subtract our top ten readers. Great job, everyone!

The 2023 Adult Summer Reading Most Popular Books list has been finalized! The summer reading website will also stay up all year, so you can go back and see books and reviews.

It was great to see some of you for the end-of-year reading celebration and ice cream social. I hope to see you all for October's Two-Sentence Horror Story contest, our All-Year Reading Challenge, and of course... next year's summer reading!
