New ways to find your next read.

Ever wonder how Carrie finds all her great reading recommendations? She listens to podcasts! Here are her personal recommendations for great podcasts about books—you can listen for free, just like radio.

Sarah's Bookshelves Live

Each week, Sarah talks with her featured guest about old books they love, new books they love, books they don’t love, and new releases they’re excited about.

Carrie's note: She does great seasonal book preview episodes and a summer reading list.

Currently Reading

Two bookish friends discuss what’s on their nightstands, in their earbuds, and on their Kindles right now, in addition to books they’ve loved forever, and a variety of other readerly topics.

Carrie's note: You will be astounded by how many books they recommend each week!

What Should I Read Next?

Each week, Anne interviews a reader about the books they love, the books they hate, and the books they're reading now. Then, she makes recommendations about what to read next. The real purpose of the show is to help YOU find your next read.

Carrie's note: She does a great yearly summer reading guide that can be downloaded for free.

From the Front Porch

Welcome to From the Front Porch, a weekly conversational podcast on books, small business, and life in the South, produced by The Bookshelf, an independent bookstore in Thomasville, Georgia.

Carrie's note: She has great monthly reading recap episodes which will motivate you add many books to your "to be read" list!

Just the Right Book with Roxanne Coady

Roxanne Coady, owner of famous independent bookstore R.J. Julia Booksellers in Madison, CT, helps you discover new and noteworthy books in all genres, give you unique insights into your favorite authors, and bring you up to date with what’s happening in the literary world.
