Adult summer reading PARTY!

And we're back! After a relaxing (but humid) vacation, I returned to new carpet in the staff room and much cooler weather. And of course, summer reading is still going strong.

Last week's raffle winner is Dorothy! Congrats, and enjoy your snacks 🤤 We don't have a victory picture just yet, but if we get one, it will be in an upcoming email.

This week's grand total is 2005 books. Yes, you read that right! We've skyrocketed past two thousand books! That's higher than our end-of-summer totals since 2019, and maybe even earlier. And we're only halfway through the summer!

We have more participants this year—a total of 259 so far—which is certainly increasing our totals. Only four years ago, there were just 64 participants!

These numbers are from Monday afternoon, so they've certainly gone up since then.
