Week 6 of Summer Reading!

It's the sixth week of summer reading—did anyone catch that this paragraph has said "the second week" since the second week? Whoops! We're up to 266 adult summer readers, with a whopping 1541 books finished.

After unlocking the Reader's Retreat last week, The Bookworms have blazed ahead to unlock mocktails! Mocktails will be available to everyone who registers for the Reader's Retreat at the end of summer. We like to share, so everyone is welcome to register for the Reader's Retreat and enjoy ice cream, mocktails, and more! 🐛

Meet your team!

As of today, ALL teams have read at least 200 books... and that means you're ALL invited to special Meet Your Team events!

Each team will have its own gathering, where you can meet other members of your team, talk books and hobbies, and enjoy refreshments. This is a chance to connect with fellow readers in a relaxed, fun setting, whether you’re new to your team or have been reading alongside them all summer. There will be a reading-themed mixer, so come prepared to name a few favorite books.

And yes, we’ll have nametags.

Team Progress

The Book Worms continue to chomp their way through books, climbing to 299 books this week. The Cliffhangers made a strong push to 220, edging ahead of The Underliners, now at 214, and The Reading Rangers, who jumped from 151 to an impressive 206. The Hidden Gems moved up to 202, while both The Literary Legends and The Book Besties are locked in a tie at 200.

Leaderboard

pearlmsqueaks holds onto the top spot, with Cathy in second and sharonkay close behind in third. TheRantingGnome is in fourth, followed by szy09 in fifth and ntine10 in sixth. Beth and amjastern are tied for seventh, while morganh and jmcyr2003 round out the list in eighth and ninth.
