September is almost here!

Tomorrow at noon Mountain Time, we’ll take some relaxed time together to plan the month ahead during our monthly Let’s Plan Together.

And since today is Sunday, I have a little suggestion to help you prepare:

Take a few minutes to review August.

Before we rush into a new month, it can be valuable to pause and notice what happened in the month we’re leaving.

Open your Success Choice Planner to your August Log and take a look back through your calendar, your photos, or even your phone to help jog your memory.

Then capture three things:

Noteworthy Events
What happened this month that you want to remember? Big events, little moments, trips, celebrations, milestones, meaningful experiences—anything that made August August.

Successes
What went well? What did you accomplish? What choices are you proud of? What progress did you make, even if it felt small?

Lessons Learned
What did August teach you? What worked? What didn't? What would you like to do differently—or continue doing—in September?

This isn't about judging yourself or creating another list of things you didn't get done.

It's about noticing.

Noticing where you've been, acknowledging your progress, and learning from your experiences gives you a much better starting point for deciding where you want to go next.

Then tomorrow, we'll use that reflection as we look ahead to September.

And remember, Let’s Plan Together is intentionally low-key and relaxed.

You don't need a perfect plan. You don't need to have all your goals figured out. You simply need your planner, a little time, and a willingness to think about what matters most.

Sometimes having a set time, a place, and someone to plan with is all we need to finally sit down and do it.
