Coaching is a very deep work. A coach works at the core level of the client. It is not like short training programs (transactional), but transformational.

The shift in the client can be at physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level, only

As such the need to get the right training, certification, credential, experience, and be part of a fraternity which ensures the coach remains aligned with the Code of Ethics and continue learning. International Coach Federation (ICF) is the global benchmark...

Choose a training program which is accredited by ICF. Choose carefully, as it would be a critical element of your journey. The training is a blend of destination (credential), but also the journey (self-discovery to self-transformation)

• ICF is the benchmark in the coaching profession. ICF has been around for 22 years. Has most widely recognized - Rigor, consistency that goes into the credentialing is the reason
  

• ICF credentialed members also adhere to ICF Code of Ethics
• Research shows ICF credentialed coaches earn more than uncredentialed coaches.
  
• ACTP is all-inclusive training program - For ACC, training by the accredited agency (60 hours, mentoring by PCC coaches), also 100 hours of coaching log (75 paid, minimum 8 clients). ACSTH path mandates 10 hours of mentor coaching as an additional requirement. Coach Knowledge Assessment (online test) is applicable to both.
