Leaving care services in rural Scotland
Dear Friend,

Staf Relationships Webinar: Leaving Care Services in Rural Scotland | Wednesday 9 December 2020 | 10am-12pm | Microsoft Teams

We are getting in touch to invite you to our next Staf Relationships Webinar, which will focus on delivering leaving care services in rural, remote and island communities.

This is an opportunity to connect with your peers to discuss challenges, opportunities and best practice.

This webinar will include contributions from:
  • Care Free Cornwall: A charity based in the South of England that supports children and young people aged 11 to 25 in and leaving care. They will give us an insight into how rurality impacts their work and will discuss their free public transport campaign.
  • Fostering First: A foster care provider based in Ireland that also provides supported lodgings placements for care leavers, who will discuss the challenges and opportunities of delivering services in a country where 37 per cent of the population lives in rural areas.
  • Shetland Islands Council: A representative from Shetland Islands Council will discuss best practice in delivering leaving care services in remote island communities.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with us at bookings@staf.scot

We look forward to welcoming you to this webinar,
