The Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco 2022 is perhaps the Barbaresco Deal of the Vintage. The warmer 2022 vintage is dangerous, ethereal, slinky, silky, quietly powerful, long, with an ease to the tannin that makes you want to drink the whole bottle. There is a sizable amount of 'Riserva' level juice in this wine and that is painfully obvious in the aromatics and palate, class, polish, breed, complexity and balance...that last one being the toughest attribute to achieve in 2022. And they did it...big time.

93 Points! The 2022 Barbaresco is a pretty rich, heady wine. Dark cherry/plum fruit, cloves, licorice and mocha build as the 2022 shows off its considerable depth. This is one of the few 2022s that is quite resonant texturally...The inclusion of some juice from Riserva lots is a great help.
