Why the 2014? The third straight drought year gave small berries and serious concentration, and an early, warm season delivered ripe, polished fruit. Now 12 years on, it’s plush, generous and right in its drinking window: the bottle to open this holiday season, and the magnum to bring to the table.

Price? Usually there is no price. These wines simply aren’t for sale. But for you? $199.98 a bottle, $399.98 a magnum. I mean, come on, who else even gets the chance to see this stuff, let alone own it?
