| | | Domaine Henri Prudhon was once hailed as one of the most influential, under the radar producers in the village of Saint Aubin by Allen Meadows. The wines are extremely affordable and delicious. Although very rare, it is still possible to find vintners producing high-quality wines at reasonable prices. The Domaine was established by Henri Prudhon who was born and raised as a vigneron in the village of Saint Aubin since his birth in 1921. He and his wife, Marguerite, combined forces upon their marriage in 1945, putting their small vineyard holdings together to form the Domaine Henri Prudhon. In the early 80’s they decided to begin bottling the wines of the estate rather than selling the fruit to local negociants. The result has been nothing short of spectacular. |
