The legacy of Pittsburgh historian John L. Ford, Sr. will be celebrated during Black History month on February 23, 2020 in the form of a small exhibit organized by his son and daughter. Come and view Mr. Ford’s prized collection of African and African American artifacts, documents and more at this exciting tribute. The exhibit will support Mr. Ford’s quote, “I believe Black History should be celebrated all year. Let’s prepare for goodness, love for family, friends and the quest for a better tomorrow.” This will NOT be a lecture, however a televised lecture featuring John discussing the Transatlantic Slave Trade and a skull and its origin dating back 1.8M years ago will be shown.

*Light refreshments will be served*
