About PBCOHE
The Pennsylvania Black Conference on Higher Education Inc. (PBCOHE) was founded forty-seven years ago, by the Honorable K. Leroy Irvis to examine the impact of state and federal educational policies on persons of color in Pennsylvania and advocate for greater access for minority students, faculty and staff.  One of the oldest organizations of its kind, PBCOHE is a professional association whose purpose is to ensure that African Americans and other underrepresentd groups have access to higher education in the Commonwealth. Membership is available to those affiliated with state-owned, state-related, state-aided, or private colleges, universities, community colleges; state based educational agencies of Pennsylvania or other educationally oriented organizations.  For more information, visit  www.pbcohe.com.
