Strengthening Black Families is POISE Foundation's grantmaking strategy to re-assert the Black Family as a core institution in the redevelopment of Pittsburgh's Black community. Building on its legacy, the Foundation is investing in and encouraging others to recognize the importance that family plays in elevating and sustaining a higher quality of life in the communities where they live, learn, work, and play.

Let us know what you think!! Enter a drawing to win a family gift basket in 3 easy steps:

1. Take a photograph of your family OR you can take a selfie of your family in front of one of POISE Foundation's billboards or bus shelters around the City of Pittsburgh.
    
2. In a couple of sentences comment on what you believe makes a family strong.
