Members of the Hill Dance Academy Theatre Gala Planning Committee are setting the stage for what is promising to be one of the most anticipated and unique events in the Pittsburgh area. On Sunday October 11th 2015, the Thelma Lovette YMCA will be transformed into a red carpet Gala celebrating the accomplishments of unsung youth in the arts and the 10th anniversary of Hill Dance Academy Theatre.

2015-2017 Youth Champions
in the Arts Honorees

• Dyonna Hall, age 15, sophomore at Obama Academy
  – Youth Champion in Dance
• Cherish Morgan, age 19, student at Point Park University
  – Youth Champion in Dance
• Paul Winters, Jr., age 17, senior at Sewickley Academy
  – Youth Champion in Music
• Emmanuel Key, age 17, senior at Central Catholic High School
  – Youth Champion in Theatre

These young artists will receive the Hill Dance Academy Theatre Youth Champion in the Arts Performance Platform from October 2015 through September 2017.  The Platform includes 2 years of concert and community performances; a Professional Mentor/Master Artist in Dance, Music and Theatre; all-expense paid attendance to HDAT’s 8Week Summer Dance Intensive Program, and a weekly stipend.  The artist will also work with national choreographers, musicians and actors who will assist them with their artistic career aspirations.
