To the constituents, families, and friends of the 14th Congressional District, we welcome you to get to know the representative that desires to fight for our voices. Dr. Janis C. Brooks is a third generation resident of North Versailles Township in Pennsylvania. She's the mother of two grown children and grandmother to three grandchildren. Dr. Brooks is a Pastor, Founder/CEO of a local youth program, senior citizens friend and advocate, human rights activist, and a mentor and friend to many.
We hope that you will join us as we move forward to address the real issues of real people in our communities. Dr. Brooks is a strong advocate of integrity, making decisions ethically, and ensuring equality for members of all socioeconomic statuses. She believes in the power of families, singles, communities, laborers, the unemployed, the elderly, health care, the disabled, and our future-youth.
I know what it is like to struggle, have my income dwindle, pay property taxes, to put children through college while on disability income, and be concerned about paying high utilities. I will represent ALL PEOPLE and address the concerns of seniors, families, and individuals.
