Hello Fellow Ohioans!

We’re now in the midst of this year’s holidays, and all of us at SMART are hoping that your holidays are going well. We know that COVID has made it more challenging to stay positive and connected to others, and many of us are feeling increasingly isolated. While we’re all affected by COVID, those who are struggling with addiction are especially vulnerable.

Fortunately, as announced late last month, we’ve partnered with the State of Ohio to launch a comprehensive and powerful initiative: 


Holiday Outreach Helping Others (HOHO)

This initiative provides connection to:
  • Free online recovery support meetings
  • A chat room
  • Message board forums
  • Support videos
  • Links to state resources
  • And more
If you are feeling isolated or know someone who is, these resources can help.

A True Ripple Effect

The funding we received through the State of Ohio allows SMART to offer no-cost training to addiction professionals and community members. This creates a significant ripple effect as these individuals learn more about using SMART tools and materials to help others.
