Great job, everyone!

We started Volunteer Month with two goals:

1) Recruit 100 new volunteers

2) Raise $10,000 to cover the cost of training the volunteers.

We have been absolutely blown away by the number of people who have applied for training so far this month.  We won't have a final count until Volunteer Month is over, but we've already received more than double the number of applications that we had set as a goal. We're excited about what this means in terms of expanding SMART meetings into more areas across the country.

Donations needed to reach our goal. The month is drawing to a close and we are nor quite halfway to our goal of raising $10,000 to fund the training of the new volunteers. We're writing to ask you to check in with your groups to let them know of the overwhelming response to Volunteer Month.  If they are interested in supporting volunteer training with a one-time gift (as a group, or individually) to the Volunteer Month Scholarship Fund, please share the link below.  Or any donation button on the website will work.

Double your impact!  We are fortunate to have a matching challenge from a generous donor who loves the fact that all SMART volunteers go through our excellent training program. Donate today and your gift will be matched.

Don't delay. Your gift today will bring us closer to our goal -- twice as fast!
