| | It's been an amazing year! With your support we've grown to 2,166 meetings (so far — with 10 days to go and new meetings being added every day!) We added a new automated meeting locator on our website. We configured and installed a new platform for our online community interactive systems (24/7 chat and meetings). We upgraded and improved our online bookstore and order system. Facilitator Training registrations have increased to over 200 per month. And....we were recognized by the Surgeon General in his landmark Report on Alcohol, Drugs & Health!
Bringing SMART's science-based program for addiction recovery to communities from coast to coast is amazingly rewarding work. We love to hear from individuals and families whose have used SMART to change their lives. Their experiences touch our hearts every day – it’s a reward far above and beyond a paycheck, and the reward is one that we hear our volunteers tout about their SMART work, as well.
