Subject: Giving Tuesday ~ Let's go BIG on Facebook tomorrow

SMART Recovery

everyone
Dear Friend,

Giving Tuesday SMART’s mission is to help individuals, families and communities use every effective measure available to overcome the suffering associated with addiction – the most serious healthcare crisis of the 21st century.

No-one goes looking for addiction. It can happen to you, your mom, your dad, your sister, your brother, anyone. Stigma and shame keep many from seeking help.

We provide free, no blame, no shame, self-empowering support meetings and recovery training. This #GivingTuesday, you can help fight addiction by making a gift supporting SMART Recovery.

We have a fantastic opportunity to earn a large matching gift from Facebook and PayPal for Giving Tuesday gifts made on our Facebook page.  Your gift, doubled by this match, will help us reach even more communities where people are searching for the tools they need to free themselves from addiction.

Facebook and PayPal have teamed up to match all Giving Tuesday donations made via Facebook, up to $7 million.

This event starts Tuesday morning (11/27) at 8am EST / 5am PST. The matching funds are capped at $7 million.

If history repeats itself, the funds will run out quickly so if you plan to make a gift please use the donate button on our Facebook page to make a gift as early as possible after 8am eastern to have your gift doubled:

Together we can GO BIG on Facebook to empower more people to achieve independence from addiction problems using our science-based 4-Point Program®, during the upcoming holidays and beyond.

Sincerely,

P.S. please feel free to share this with everyone you know :).  Family, friends, other SMARTies.  Don't have a Facebook account?  No problem! You can use this link instead: https://www.smartrecovery.org/donate/
