Announcing the World Premiere of Authentics
|
|
|
We are excited to announce the world premiere of a new short film about addiction and recovery, Authentics, produced by Rising Act Films, and made possible thanks to the generous contribution of the Chris and Debbie Swain Charitable Foundation.
This year has seen the release of major motion pictures released on the subject of recovery this year, including Ben is Back starring Julia Roberts, Beautiful Boy starring Steve Carell, and the upcoming A Million Little Pieces starring Billy Bob Thornton. What all these films have in common, however, is that they portray AA's 12-Steps Program as the only effective treatment option in their storylines.
What makes Authentics unique and groundbreaking is that it is the first film to prominently feature SMART Recovery as the basis of its narrative.
