Progressive Care Inc. CEO to Speak at 5th Annual Florida Telehealth Summit in St. Pete Beach, Florida

MIAMI, Nov. 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Progressive Care Inc. (OTCQB: RXMD), a personalized healthcare services and technology company, today announced that the company will be attending and speaking at the 5th Annual Florida Telehealth Summit, an event aimed at connecting key telehealth champions to learn about the applications, research, and legal aspects of telehealth in Florida. The event takes place from Nov. 7-9 in St. Pete Beach, Florida.

S. Parikh Mars, CEO of Progressive Care Inc., will be leading a breakout session titled The Digital Pharmacy: Where Personalization Meets Tech from 3:15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. ET on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018. Mars will discuss the key components needed when implementing a successful tele-pharmacy model, best practices for balancing personalization with automation in a rapidly expanding marketplace, and how the tele-pharmacy model can help decrease non-adherence and increase profitability. Mars will also demonstrate the functions of the company’s propriety tele-pharmacy platform, Tele-PharmCo.

“I am honored to speak at such a relevant industry summit,” Mars said. “The conference’s focus on telehealth and the implementation of best technology practices within healthcare very much aligns with Progressive Care’s approach to offering innovative healthcare solutions for patients and physicians. I look forward to discussing and demonstrating our own proprietary tele-pharmacy model, Tele-PharmCo, and engaging with other industry leaders in telehealth.”

Tele-PharmCo will facilitate two-way video conferencing between patients, healthcare professionals, and PharmCo’s team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians through a secure video interface. The new multi-platform technology software will allow patients and their care providers to connect and interact with licensed pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in real time and speak directly about medications, prescription refills, adverse reactions, and other concerns.
