Rocky Mountain High Water Company, LLC Approved for “Made/Produced by American Indians” Trademark

DALLAS, May 04, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Rocky Mountain High Brands, Inc. (OTCQB:RMHB), a fully reporting consumer goods company specializing in hemp-infused food and beverage products and a naturally high alkaline water, announced today that the Company’s subsidiary, Rocky Mountain High Water Company, LLC was approved by the Intertribal Agriculture Council (IAC) to place the “Made/Produced by American Indians” trademark on its bottles and box packaging for Eagle Spirit Spring Water.

Rocky Mountain High Water Company, LLC, is a majority-owned Native American enterprise.

The “Made/Produced by American Indians” trademark has been officially converted to a “certification mark” with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. This was done to clarify the actual purpose of the mark. The IAC is proud to offer this “certification” to American Indian producers and artisans to certify that their products are indeed authentic Native American made. The certification has also been filed in foreign countries: Canada and Hong Kong.

The “Made/Produced by American Indians” certification mark was initially approved as a trademark by the U.S. patent office in Washington, D.C. in September 1994. It was developed specifically to denote authenticity and protect Native American producers and consumers from buying and using fake imitations. The American Indian Foods program will continue to use this emblem for consumers to easily identify authentic American Indian produced goods. It is a unique symbol of Native American culture, tradition and pride that is found in Indian Country and allows Native Americans to proudly display and provide authenticity of American Indian made products.
