Boston and Nuova intent to explore synergies, identify acquisition opportunities for LPG carriers, vessels and inland storage facilities, exchange market expertise and co-invest for creating an integrated platform that will transport, import and distribute LPG in Italy.
In the interview Mr. Bertsos stated, “My financial and accounting background in the shipping industry allows me a unique perspective. The five years I spent as an auditor with Price, Waterhouse, Coopers in Greece, mainly auditing shipping clients, provided me with invaluable experience. Later, I worked inside a shipping company as a chief financial officer (CFO) preparing them for their initial public offering. In 2010, I joined another public shipping company as their CFO. So, you can see that I have the experience and contacts to make Boston Carriers Inc. a success.”
