Monster Offers Announces US Patent and Trademark Protection for New Marks: Ad Shark® and App Hysteria®

Public Company Gains Protection for Names of Two of its Powerhouse Brands: the AppHysteria® App Store and the Mobile Marketing Sales Brand Ad Shark®.

San Clemente, CA, September 4, 2013 - Monster Arts, Inc. (OTCQB: APPZ), a leading analytics provider and mobile advertising/content distribution platform company announced today the formal registration of its AppHysteria® and Ad Shark® trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). These registrations add to the company’s growing portfolio of intellectual property, further protecting Monster Arts’ well-established brands, related apps, websites, merchandise, and licensing agreements.

AppHysteria®, a white label app store technology that allows for the custom creation of app, web app, and mobile content stores for clients, was acquired earlier this year by Monster Arts from innovative, Smartphone app developer, Iconosys, Inc. This transaction has empowered Monster Arts’ mobile marketing division with a valuable corporate asset, including wider reach to potential Smartphone users and e-commerce customers as the acquisition provides the company with access to potentially millions of user profiles from the catalogue of existing apps ready for purchase and download in the Android based AppHysteria® store.

This newly announced legal protection for the AppHysteria® brands name further adds to the intrinsic value of the white label app store’s technology delivery backend as a solid foundation for mobile marketing and custom ordering systems development. Monster Arts sees this technology system as representing an enticing opportunity for secure real time ordering, content delivery and account management. The system is built to facilitate an ordering process that can deploy desired media content catalogs and wish list management applications, which together can enable media content to be securely transferred via the web and between specified Android devices.
