| Granite countertops are all the rage nowadays (I have lots of granite in my house also), but most people don't know granite is naturally radioactive. The good news is most are at such a low level it's nothing to worry about, but depending on which quarry they came from, there are some that are at much higher levels. Luckily it's easy to find out how much. In this video I take you to a granite warehouse and test many different kinds, then to the Atomic testing museum, and then I test an actual piece of "hot" uranium and compare.
