"A Novel Approach" balances whole class novels with choice novels and shares strategies for deep reading that will engage students whether they are reading as a class or on their own. Join other English teachers and teacher leaders in this 8-week online book study of "A Novel Approach."

Join HCESC TAG coaches and jump into the world of blended learning as we read Catlin Tucker's "Balance with Blended Learning" (2020). We will model both synchronous lessons through weekly online meetings on Wednesday mornings and asynchronous conversations through social media platforms. Connect with other educators to get great ideas to use in (and out) of your classroom!

Though there is uncertainty for the return to school in fall 2020, there is probably going to be a remote learning component for most teachers.

Join us for these FREE VIRTUAL Q&A sessions about Digital Remote Learning in the Math Classroom where a panel of local teachers will share about success they had this spring with digital remote learning.

Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions of the panel members to help imagine what their digital classroom could look like in the fall.

This will be a virtual fair via Zoom video conferencing.
Co-Teaching Online: In a Blended or Remote Learning Environment
As a co-teacher, your learners may be particularly vulnerable in academics and emotions. More than ever, the co-teaching structure can provide a sense of security and belonging for these vulnerable learners.

Blended and remote learning environments don’t always seem to match with best co-teaching practices. This session provides ideas and creates space for teachers to craft co-teaching models for blended and online instruction.
