But I kept going.
Because I knew—deep in my very tired, hormonal bones—that I wanted to create something different. I was tired of leadership being done badly (including by me). So I became obsessed with understanding how we live and lead in a way that genuinely makes things better.
Ten years later, I’ve logged over 17,000 hours coaching, facilitating, researching, and delivering leadership programs. And I’ve loved almost every single one of them.
What’s helped me most? Having my own coach(es) over the years. Practitioners who held space, asked the hard questions, challenged my thinking, and reminded me who I was when I forgot. Every leader needs that.
