2026 Small Business of the Year

We have been nominated for Small Business of the Year for the 2026 Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award. Sharper Image has been selected as a finalist!!


This is a huge honor and we are so flattered to be recognized in this way. We thank you for your continued support. You make what we do so much fun!


Last week, the Chamber of Commerce visited our salon to interview us and film our team doing what they do best. It was a great experience to be part of.


The awards take place on October 21, 2026 at Red Deer Polytechnic Arts Centre.

What's Going On This September?


We're CLOSED Monday, September 7th for the September long weekend. We'll be back to regular salon hours on Tuesday, September 8th and look forward to seeing you then.



Mela & Kera has arrived in the salon and it's Canadian! It's lightweight, it performs incredibly on all hair types, and of course it smells incredible. To me it feels like luxury without the luxury price point.


The name comes from melanin and keratin — the two things your hair is actually made of, and both are so important for keeping it healthy and strong.

Scalp Night is on Thursday, September 24th. Fall is a great time to give your scalp a little extra love. Treat yourself to some much-needed relaxation while giving your scalp and hair some extra TLC. Spaces are limited, so call the salon at (403) 341-3333 to book.
