US Embassy Kenya issues security alert warning terrorist groups may be plotting attack against a major hotel in Nairobi. More info via email.

Subscribers are reminded that in Jan 2019, Islamic militants carried out an attack on the DusitD2 hotel and office complex in the Westlands area of Nairobi, Kenya leaving 21 people dead, including one American.

Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it was in response to US President Donald Trump's decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Event: Terrorist groups may be plotting an attack against a major hotel in Nairobi. The exact hotel has not been identified, but it is believed to be a hotel popular with tourists and business travelers.
