SMS Alert Text:

New Islamic State propaganda poster issues chilling threat to "worshipers of the cross" (Catholics/Christians), specifying Rome, Paris and London. See email.

Supplemental Info:

The poster below was released earlier today on social media following an attack on three buses carrying Christian pilgrims on their way to a remote desert Coptic monastery south of the Egyptian capital of Cairo. 7 were killed and 19 injured.

The Islamic State issued a formal statement claiming responsibility for the attack.

In the image below, the Arabic text translates to the following English statement:

Your crucifixes, and your patriarchs, and your safe churches are under our swords as long as we have a beating vein and a boiling blood. So Today Egypt and tomorrow Rome, Paris and London.

Wait for the next O worshipers of the cross, the next is bitter and worse.

This is the third such threat against the Pope / Catholics / Christians by the Islamic State in two weeks.
