No Kings II Protests October 18, 2025
“No Kings” is a nationwide movement organized to resist what they see as authoritarian drift under the Trump Administration. The group says it will not "back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty" and pointed in particular to Trump's immigration policies.
The first major “No Kings Day” was held on June 14, 2025 to counter a military parade spearheaded by the White House. The upcoming protests are framed as “No Kings II” or a second wave. Protests are planned in hundreds of locations across all 50 U.S. states. House Speaker Mike Johnson characterized the protests as “hate America” events, that would draw “the pro-Hamas wing” and “the Antifa people.”. While the organizers state they intend for the events to be peaceful, there is significant angry rhetoric online. Caution is urged.
In Chicago, a major march is set to begin at Grant Park’s Butler Field at noon. This event holds significant potential for violence.
In Washington, DC, several protests will be held, including a "Remove the Regime" march + No Kings II rally on the National Mall. It is expected this will also involve the White House complex. This event holds significant potential for violence.
In New York, a No Kings Day of Action will be held in Father Duffy Square (Broadway & West 47th Street).
In Tampa Bay / Florida, multiple events will take place across the region, spanning from Venice to Lakeland.
In Los Angeles, multiple No Kings Day II events are scheduled across the city.
In San Francisco, a No Kings Day II rally and march will be held at Sue Bierman Park / Embarcadero Plaza.
