Hong Kong police defuse two sophisticated IEDs cont high explosives and nails on Queen’s Road at the Wah Yan College. Region on high alert. Vigilance urged.

Supplemental Info:

According to police, the bombs were "complete, fully functional and ready to be used radio-controlled improvised explosive devices, or IEDs, and had one purpose only – to kill and maim."

The US Consulate in Hong Kong has yet to issue an alert, though one is expected later tonight.

As of late 2018, it is estimated there are 85,000 American citizens living and working in Hong Kong.
