About the Weekly Update SMS Message

Three shortened hyperlinks are provided in the Weekly Update SMS message sent to your mobile device. Those shortened hyperlinks are essential in order to keep within a 160-character limit.

ALL hyperlinks used in AlertsUSA SMS messages are completely safe and will have the following form:

https://nxt.to/xxxxxxx (where 'xxxxxxx' is a unique 7-digit link identifier).

As shown above, we will NOT include the shortened hyperlinks in the email version of our alert messages so as to prevent being classified as SPAM.

Links marked 'SERVER 1' and 'SERVER 2' lead to platforms allowing you to easily listen to the weekly audio update message. Two different links are provided in order to accommodate differing handsets and download needs. It also adds a measure of redundancy.

The final link marked NEWSLETTER leads to a mobile friendly version of the weekly Threat Journal newsletter, which provides an greatly expanded written version of the audio message, links to additional information sources, news items resources, and more.
