Building Schools, Building Futures
This year, we’ve proudly completed two new schools in Esinda EPP (Primary School) and Beandry EPP, creating new learning spaces for over 300 students. But these classrooms are more than just buildings—they represent opportunities for students to thrive and for communities to grow stronger together.
And we’re not stopping there. Construction is already underway for a new school at Mahatalaky Lycée (High School), and we’re preparing to break ground on two more primary schools at Antahovary EPP and Amboavola EPP. Each of these new builds will help provide even more children with access to quality education—an essential stepping stone toward brighter futures and stronger, more resilient communities.
Supporting Teachers, Strengthening Schools
To help close this gap, SEED launched Project Fanofanana, offering a 25-day intensive training course for 10 dedicated teachers from our partner schools. This programme prepared them to sit for the national CAE exam—a crucial step toward gaining professional qualifications and securing stable salaries. Passing the CAE exam doesn’t just benefit the teachers; it strengthens the entire education system, ensuring better outcomes for students and building a stronger foundation for the future.
In September, all 10 teachers proudly took their exams, feeling more confident and prepared. This milestone is a testament to the hard work and dedication of these educators, and a significant step toward improving educational standards across Madagascar.
Building a Stronger Future Together
At SEED, we’re committed to building more than just classrooms. Every new school, every trained teacher, and every project completed helps strengthen the communities we work alongside. Our initiatives are about more than just infrastructure—they’re about helping to create opportunities for children, supporting educators, and fostering sustainable, long-term change.
