MFA would like to extend our profound and heartfelt congratulations to YBhg. Ir. Dr. Mohd Shahreen Zainoreen for the appointment as a new CEO of MATRADE on the effective Feb 2, 2017 following the retirement of Datuk Dzulkifli Mahmud on Jan 31, 2017.
We look forward in working closely and strengthen the cooperation between MFA and MATRADE. We believe, with the appointment of YBhg Ir. Dr. Mohd Shahreen Zainoreen will add value and spur the Malaysia export and promotional activities around the globe.

EFDP Briefing
Date : 19th January 2017

Attendance : 52 representatives from government agencies (PNS, MATRADE), franchisors and master franchisees.
The objectives of the briefing session is to share and updates MFA members on the incentives and assistance offered under the EFDP programs. Divided into FAST and FORWARD programs the incentives covers grant to exhibit at international franchise exhibition in developed countries, grant to develop 2nd international franchise products, incentives on lab testing for F&B and Cosmetics franchises, franchise agreement reimbursement, trademark registration reimbursement and many more. With the formulation and implementation of EFDP the government is hoping to push and encourage more Malaysian franchisors to further expand and penetrate international market.
