I don't usually "toot my own horn" in this
newsletter, as long-time readers know.
However this is worthy of an exception...

Last week I was awarded the distinction
of Master Certified Negotiation Expert.
To put this in context, there are almost
15,000 agents who are "Certified" but
less than 220 have earned the "Master"
credential.  

Of course, academics are no substitute for
experience.  I've negotiated not only for
clients, but also negotiated $50 million
as a principal, in investment and
development deals.  Thus, I know what
it's like to be on both sides of the table,
and that experience is invaluable.

To complement that experience, though,
it's powerful to use a rigorous process, and
the MCNE has helped sharpen my process.
It's one more assurance for my clients that
they have the right guy in their corner
negotiating for them.

So, if you are looking for help in buying

Closings Last Week
There were $9.1 million in sales last week,
7 homes at an average price of $1.3 million.
Average price per square foot (psf) was down
to $296 vs $552 the prior week, due to
sales of older homes and some challenging
properties which had been on market a long
time -- including one that was fire damaged.

New Listings This Week
This week's 7 new listings just make up for
what sold last week, leaving inventory flat.
Sellers are not being shy with their pricing,
so don't get sticker shock when you see
7 figure fixer-uppers.
