Hi, it’s Teri.
Yikes… this weekend we had a very
scary situation on our hands. I was
making dinner for the family
(country fried steaks) and I had a
grease fire….
So I didn’t panic, as I’ve been
cooking for years and have had this
happen before. I did all the things
you are supposed to do…removed the
food… used flour… put a lid over
it… and it still kept growing… I
finally called out to Sterling who
was in the other room… “Ummm I
think I need some help in
here.”
He came to the rescue with the fire
extinguisher that thank goodness we
had!
Luckily… no damage to the house or
people or all of our animals… Just
a HUGE mess to clean up… and no
dinner. :-)
So I was thinking… I wish I had
been more tuned in to my energy
that day and perhaps I might have
done something different to avoid
the fire.
