Subject: [Indiana Riders 4 DAY!] Those Last Details for You

Good afternoon!

Here we go now, the clinic is almost here!

I'm sorry these last details are so late. I'm looking forward to working together, with thanks as always to Mary Ellen and her family for hosting this clinic.
Clinic: Refine Your Feel: 4 Day Immersion Program
Dates: Saturday August 27th to Tuesday August 30th
Description: Go deeper into refining your feel with a format that combines group and individual coaching dedicated to you and your horse
Information/Registration link: www.theartofriding.com/indiana-aug-2016
Venue: 380 Trabetas, Valparaiso, IN 46383
First, please be sure to:
  1. Remember to submit your balance for the clinic here (if you haven't already)
  2. Contact Mary Ellen (mespaite@mac.com or (219) 465-1358) about accommodation for you horse, arrival time and getting your horse settled in.
  3. Please click here to print, fill in and bring this Rider's Release form and the video release form (unless you signed it last time) with you to the venue.
  4. Complete this short Online Rider Questionnaire (just click "Send to Karen" at the bottom)
  5. I also suggest watching videos on YouTube.com/TheArtOfRiding, if you haven't found these, especially https://youtu.be/mjGetfgr7ig and https://youtu.be/k9FelW0-slo
Accommodation for your horse:

Mary Ellen is always as accommodating as possible at her wonderful, private facility. There are limited stalls ($15/night) and turnout options available. If you are happy with turnout and no stall, please let Mary Ellen know, otherwise accommodation preferences for your horse will be offered on a first-come (by registration date) first-served basis. Please be sure to bring hay and bedding for the entire stay. And please expect to keep your own stall clean during your stay.

What to bring:
  • Dress for the weather!
  • Preferred Equipment:
stiffer type rope halter & long lead-rope (approx 20ft)
bridle (French snaffle or similar, ideally with adjustable mecate or a good length of rein)
saddle that fits horse and rider.
If you do not own something in this list of equipment, it is NOT necessary to purchase them for the clinic - please bring what you normally use.
  • Your favorite portable chair + notebook is a good plan!
  • Your Release forms (see above!)
Meanwhile!

If you have any questions or need more information, please contact me (reply to this email) or Mary Ellen at mespaite@mac.com.

I can hardly wait :)

To you and your horse,

Karen
