I've spent several months writing and illustrating the finale for the Illegal "Aliens" series. As a musician who was pretty much full time performing and teaching for about 20 years, I can write a tune or create a cool guitar riff just by picking up the instrument and start playing.

I don't think. Let me say that again, "I don't think!"

I allow nature to take its course. I come from a culture where you gotta think, think, think. Which leads to stress, stress, stress.

Since writing is not what I've done for the past 20 years or so it doesn't come naturally for me as music does. But...

As I'm writing this, I'm not really thinking much, I'm just typing as something reveals itself to me. Allowing nature to take its course.

It might be the best and correct way to do it but it works for me and it allows me to not stress out.

Anyways...

Illegal Aliens #5 will be the final chapter in this series and it was fun. The characters are growing and still need to grow as they become better musicians. In this chapter, the Clef kids prep for the Ultimate Shred Battle Championship. This is the ultimate test for speed and accuracy for all musicians and even DJ's if you want to consider them as musicians. =)
