I know it's Christmas and I should be with my family celebrating. The good news is, I am!

I wrote this a few days ago so I can free up time for my family. Good thinking huh?

The wisdom lesson for today is: Planning Ahead!

I create and write in batches way ahead of time. Managing your time is important for coming out ahead in life and success. It's starts with habits. Two to be exact.

One key to time management is having a calendar or list to write down your tasks. To begin, start with a simple notes app on your phone. All smart phones have a basic notes app.

Here are the two habits.

1. The moment you have an event or a task to do. IMMEDIATELY write it down in your notes app.
   
2. Check your list several times a day.

It's that simple to start with, then as you get accustomed to the habits, then move on to a real scheduler, here's a quote.

One of the best things I did was set up the Music Overlord Mega Read Team.

It is critically important to get reviews on new comic books as soon as they launch.

Everyone and their granny always checks for reviews before they purchase something online. I know I do. Reviews help drive early sales which, in turn, means that Amazon turns it’s massive big head and starts to market on my behalf. And Amazon rules in this space.

To make that a reality, not virtual, I have a small team of “ Mega Readers". It’s pretty simple and is, I hope, a total hoot. It involves being sent a copy of whatever comic or book I’ve just finished and then, when it’s published, firing up a quick and honest review. It’s so simple.

Some members of the team have picked up my obvious errorsand mentioned how I suck. But hey, that just helps me improve, right? Just don’t bruise my mini ego. =)

Apart from getting a copy of the book before anyone else, I try and say thanks with some nice freebies. I might give away some freesign copies and little extras.
